Mark serves Of Counsel to Phillips Law Partners, LLP on a special project basis while serving as the chief operating officer and general counsel for Western Milling, LLC, which is an established and diverse agribusiness. His practice specialties include tax law, real estate, estate planning, and business formation. Mark has served as both a board member and general counsel for various firm clients.
Mark received a business degree with an emphasis in accounting from California State University at Long Beach. He graduated summa cum laude and was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, a national business fraternity. Mark attended Loyola Law School and received his juris doctorate, with honors. Following graduation from law school, Mark worked with the national accounting firm of Arthur Anderson specializing in business, individual and estate taxation. Mark is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive), is a current member of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice in the U.S. Tax Court. Mark is also a member of various professional organizations including the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
