Like many of the firm's attorneys, Jim's practice areas are diverse and reflect his breath of knowledge and experience. Jim is a member of the firm's litigation, real estate, business and estate planning practice groups. Notable matters include the successful defense of a $62 million breach of contract/lease claim filed by a NYSE listed company and representation of parties in real estate transactions totaling more than $600 million. Additionally, Jim provides general counsel advice to businesses for litigation, contract, intellectual property, tax, real estate, and labor issues and assists mid and high net worth clients with business and estate planning objectives. Jim holds a California real estate broker's license.
Jim's personal interests include skiing, tennis and cartography. Jim is a director of Camp del Corazaon, a non-profit organization that provides opportunities for children with heart disease.
