George Phillips, Jr. specializes in Trusts & Estates and his practice includes estate planning, trust and probate litigation, trust and probate administration, real estate, and general business law. Mr. Phillips also has a substantial business litigation practice, which he developed during six years at O'Melveny & Myers at the outset of his legal career. Mr. Phillips graduated from USC Law School in 1991 in the top 2% of his class, where he was also Order of the Coif. Mr. Phillips is also a Certified Public Accountant (inactive), which provides him with a solid background that he applies in his complex trust and business law practice.
Mr. Phillips represents several corporate fiduciaries in Trust litigation matters and is the head of the firm's Trust & Probate Litigation Practice. He also enjoys representing closely held companies and wealthy families as their outside general counsel and in their succession planning.
Mr. Phillips serves on the board of several religious, charitable and educational institutions. He resides in Hancock Park with his wife, Dina, and their four children, and his interests include tennis, water skiing, snow skiing, and coaching his daughters' softball and soccer teams.
