After graduating from USC in 1980 with a degree in Business Administration, Gary Phillips earned his CPA license in the tax and audit departments of Deloitte. Mr. Phillips then attended and graduated from USC Law School in 1985. Mr. Phillips has a broad range of transactional and trial experience in real estate, trust, business and commercial matters, and he's represented the trust departments of several major banks. His accounting and tax background provides him with an advantage in representing wealthy individuals, entrepreneurs, and small to medium size businesses. Mr. Phillips is a member of the firms' management committee and chairman of the firm's litigation practice group. He also serves on the board of several public and private charities, including the Armenian Missionary Association of America, Inc., which is a $190 million dollar non-profit that provides educational, evangelistic, relief, social service, and child care ministries in 24 countries around the world. Mr. Phillips also serves on the Board of Trustees of Haigazian University, which is a private liberal arts university located in Beirut, Lebanon, that uses English as its language of instruction. Mr. Phillips resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Arsine, and enjoys road and gravel biking, snow skiing, and water skiing.
